about the artist
I have been taking photos in the area for approximately 10 years. My interest in photography grew as I began an internet based photo journal of the Delaware & Raritan Canal State Park in Somerset, NJ - www.canalphotos.net
By concentrating on a small section of the park, I learned to see more deeply into the intricate patterns and beauty that is always present before us.
The images in this exhibit reflect my desire to show some of the visual wonders that I have discovered nearby.
My cameras have all been digital and I have used graphic filters in some cases as expressive tools to create
photo-artistic hybrids.
